Our unique programs allow students to learn from working professionals in their fields of expertise from all parts of the world through Professional Workshops, Lecture Series, Independent Film Productions and Internships.

 Rather than just learning theory and technique our program functions in coordination with our Professional Production Company Infinite Human Productions to give students the professional tools and support they need to learn, grow artistically and create a highly professional portfolio of film shot on location here in Italy.

TECHNOLOGY TRAINING LABS

 

 

Our multi media lab gives students a chance to learn and experiment with the latest creative technology. Media techs help students work on their independent projects. Our labs work with a number of animation/ special effects/ graphic design and 3-D programs.

 

PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS

 

Students will have the opportunity to intern on professional films shot here in Italy

Students will shoot short documentary clips for our news channel while they intern in our Video Journalism Program

Students will intern in our International Film Festival and have the opportunity to take their film shorts to the Cannes Film Short Corner

 

STUDENT PROJECTS

 

Students will complete a number of independent and collaborative films and multi media projects during the program. Students in the graduate program as will also complete their own independent thesis project approved by the staff.

 

Our production company Infinite Human Productions produces and promotes student films that have been green lighted for our professional production track.

 

PROFESSIONAL ITALIAN CLASSES

 

Non EU Students who do not speak Italian and need visas are required to take our professional Italian course. The cost is 1,800 euros

 

HOUSING AND EXPENSES

Apartments in the center of Florence can be arranged for the cost of 550 euro per month for a private room in an apartment shared with other students. All housing is within walking distance to the school. Food is inexpensive and students will be provided with museum passes to all major museums.

 

ADMISSIONS

 

Students must be proficient in the English Language.

Students must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or the equivalent from their country.

TUITION

 

The tuition is 6, 500 euros per semester.

One Year Professional Certificate includes two semesters and the summer program cost 16,000 Euros

Two Year M.A. Degree in Film and New Media Production includes four semesters and two summer sessions and final thesis project cost 30,000 euros

Summer Eight Week (may be taken independently) intensive multi media program is 4500 euros.

 

There are a limited number of scholarships available for our Teaching/ Internships

To qualify you need to have professional and /or educational experience in one of the areas offered in our program.

M.A. DEGREE IN FILM AND MEDIA

Completion of two eight week intensives

Attendance of four semesters consisting of:

Lecture series, workshops, media labs and assignments

Completion of all collaborative and individual film and multi media projects

Completion of two Professional Internships

Completion independent thesis film project approved by the staff 

Completion of detailed Marketing Plan for Film Distribution

Attendance in a Major Film Festival

 

ONE YEAR PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE FILMMAKING

 

 

Completion one eight week intensive film making course and two semesters

Attendance of all lecture series, professional workshops, media labs and completion of all assignments

Completion of collaborative film projects

Completion of one professional internship

Florence International Film Festival &

Cannes Film Festival/ Film Promotion

We also have a special program where are students can intern and premiere their films at The Florence International Film Festival in the Fall and The Cannes Film Shrot Corner in the Spring.

Students will have passes to attend lectures and press conferences by professional  actors and directors attending the festival as well as attending select premieres.
